Ahimsa Gardens is an environmentally-friendly full-service landscaping company serving residential and commercial clients in Ashland and the Rogue Valley. Founded in 2016, we offer ecological landscape design, installation and maintenance. We design climate-wise landscapes, utilizing many native plants to support native insect and bird species. We follow permaculture ethics, designing food forest gardens for clients interested in growing food. We design and install irrigation systems, fences, patios and pathways, and more. We help our clients find water-wise, fire-safe solutions for their landscaping needs while creating inspiring outdoor spaces for humans to gather, and native wildlife to thrive.

Our Mission...
Ahimsa is a Sanskrit word from the yoga philosophy that means ‘non-harming’. We strive to garden in a way that does not harm the earth, animals, insects, plants, water and people that live here. In addition to non-harming, we strive to provide ‘right livelihood’ for all of our staff. Recognizing that we spend many hours each week at work, it is important for all of us that we love what we do, feel good about our impact, are proud of our work, and enjoy our co-workers, clients, and work environment.
